Creating Web Pages

This course continues to be one of the most popular ed2go courses and for good reasons! Students learn to create their very own Web site and post it on the Internet. Key components of this course include learning how to plan the content, structure and layout of a Web site, creating pages full of neatly formatted text, building links between the pages and to the outside world, and adding color, backgrounds, graphics, tables, and more.

Students gain an understanding of:

• The guiding principles of Web design and the best navigational structure for a site
• Using graphics correctly to enhance web pages
• Site navigation tools such as hypertext links and hot buttons
• Using a Web host and pushing a Web page live
