Can a class be cancelled because of low enrollment?
Unfortunately, yes. In most cases we require a set minimum for a class to run, although this minimum will vary. If we have to cancel a class due to low enrollment, we will notify you at least two days before the class is scheduled to begin. If you need more notice, we suggest you call or email the office to check enrollment.
If at all possible, please register for a class at your earliest opportunity. All too often, we cancel a class, only to have students call at the last minute wanting to register.
If we have to cancel your class, you can request a full refund of your tuition or transfer to another course of your choice, space permitting.

Course changes and cancellations.
If you must cancel your enrollment in a course, please contact us at 812-941-2385 (or email prjahead@ius.edu) as soon as possible; this will allow someone on a wait list to attend.
It is occasionally necessary to cancel, postpone, or change a course meeting date due to insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, inclement weather, etc. Please provide us with more than one way to contact you should this become necessary.
If you must travel a significant distance to a course, you may wish to call 812-941-2385 before making the trip, to confirm that the class will meet as scheduled.
